Women are such nurturing individuals. There are times when they need encouragement and a reminder that they are worthy and beautiful. Women are the wombs of the earth that bear fruit for prosperity. This is a dedication to you....
A Black Rose doesn't represent sadness or death.
It represents the beauty and everlasting breath of
my ancestors and I through the struggles we've endured.

And every inch we've shed tears and blood that was pure.
A Black Rose blossoms as other flowers do each year.
And a black woman conquers all her dreams in spite of her fears.

As in a Black Rose...beauty of black women stands out...
struggle, beauty and power hangs on each word that we shout.
***
Never underestimate the power of black women.
We are professionals...
We are mothers...
We are wives...
We are the backbone behind every black man.
Yes without us this country would be dust and sand.
***
As the Black Rose blossomed our wombs did too
fruitful of beautiful black babies that would share the fame too.
***
So just keep in mind a Black Rose represents the black woman and the
struggles we've climbed.

My sister you are that Black Rose full of beauty and pride.
