First Fictional Novel

I am pleased to announce STILLWATERS. I have been working on the novel for quite some time. I truly believe in order for you to advance in life self reliance has to occur.

Josephine Mathews is a successful International Business Consultant of Foreign Trades who seems to have everything including life in order. She is the rock of her community, organizations, and family. However, Josephine has demons she needs to battle and with the help of a special someone, Dr. Cortez Bailey, it will happen.

Josephine met Cortez while he was operating on her younger brother. Although it was an inappropriate time, she knew he would be the one to change her life…forever. As their relationship progress, he gets her to realize she is capable of smelling the roses.

STILLWATERS is a metaphor of the character. Just as the waters are rippled, everything seems distorted until it becomes calm and finds the inner beauty. Shabazz finds a way to dig deep into the character’s soul and addresses the good, bad, and ugly. You will relate to each person in the book and identify with a common goal. After reading this book, you too will find your STILLWATERS.
