I came across a woman who disclosed her husband is out of work. Although, she's supports her husband emotionally and financially it is stressful from time to time. The husband has filled out many applications and gone on several interviews. But he indicated deep concerns about not being able to take care of his family. He expressed emotions of depression, sadness and a sense of failure. More than often men are defined by the ability to support their family. However, there are other ways of displaying "head of the household" behavior.
A relationship isn't about who brings home the bacon; it's about cooking it together. No one knows your family situation outside your four walls. During this economic hardship it's very important that family stick together and show support in whatever way possible.
Don't let your emotions allow you to make rash decisions. Rather that is frivolously spending money without regard to the household or lack of support for your partner.
Continue to have positive thoughts and cherish what you do have. That's truly a blessing.
