Discussion questions for Stillwaters

I would love to participate in your book club discussions. I can attend in person or via blog. I have listed questions that each of you would benefit from reading the book. Again, that you for your support!

  1. How might this story have been different if Mike hadn't passed away?
  2. What do you think Dr. Bailey meant when he indicated he would follow Josephine anywhere?
  3. If there were a movie based on this story, how would you cast it?
  4. The skills that Josephine learns is forgiveness end up coming in very handy. Besides forgiveness are there any other life lessons she uses throughout the story?
  5. Why do you think Josephine shelter her feelings to protect herself?
  6. What other books did this one remind you of? What was similar or different about them?
  7. What is your STILLWATERS and how did you get there?
  8. What does Josephine's tenacity say about the difference between her and the other members of her family?
  9. What do you think is the root of Simon's conduct disorder and how does his behavior affect his relationships?
  10. Is it possible to love yourself enough to let others love you? Why? Why not?
